Email Account Set-up Instructions and Use

 

  1. Once you have your email address and password you can access your mailbox by clicking on here:  https://secure.powweb.com/mail/index.bml?s= 
    This will take you to CFD 5’s hosting site > Powweb and the WebMail Login.
    Another way of doing this for future use is to make a Shortcut on your  PC’s  desktop: Right Click on your desktop > choose New >Shortcut> type in or copy and paste
    the above Powweb address > click Next >  type in  CFD5 Email. Now all you have
    to do is click on the shortcut and it will take you directly  to your Email Login then
    LOGIN > Type in the Email address you have been assigned > type in the Password
    you have been issued.

  2. Internet Explorer or Firefox have options that will remember your Login.  You may want to choose this option if you are on your home computer.

  3. After you Login you will be taken to your CFD5 Mailbox (the client is called Squirrel Mail.  It is pretty straightforward and should not take you long to learn all of its features.

  4. You can Login to your CFD 5’s Email account using any computer browser from anywhere by logining in using:  https://secure.powweb.com/mail/index.bml?s=

  5. Test your Email by sending and receiving an email to your new address.

  6. Your password can be obtained or changed by filling in the form below.

 

Form to request a new Password

Your Name:


Your CFD 5 ID#  
Your regular email address:  
(Your email address will be your ID# @cfd5.com)    
Enter a Password you prefer with a 6 character length    
(Password can be characters and/or numbers)    
                                               

You new password will be emailed to your regular email address, but after that email sent to your CFD 5 email will be forwarded to your regular email address.
